The last event of 2019 was the "Romania International Music Competition Junior Edition 3rd Akasaka Junior Music Competition Prize Winners' Recital," held at the Romanian Embassy on December 14th.

With 17 participants from Sapporo, Osaka, Kyushu, and other locations, and over 100 guests who greatly delighted Ambassador Tatiana, it was a truly wonderful concert.

The concert began with greetings from Ambassador Tatiana, followed by a speech from Mr. Shimada, Chairman of the NPO Japan-Romania Music Association. We were also honored to welcome Mr. Tanimoto from Kawai Musical Instruments Mfg. Co., Ltd., who sponsored the event this year, and Mr. Uchida, Secretary General of the Kisport Foundation, who co-sponsors the hall every year, as our guests of honor.

We immediately received an offer to participate in their performance tour to Romania, and we were also delighted to hear that they would like to participate in an event organized by the Kisport Foundation next year. Mr. Tanimoto from Kawai Musical Instruments was also surprised by the high level of the performance, and all of this was very gratifying for the association.

This concert, whose motto is for everyone to enjoy playing, was a pleasant and harmonious experience from beginning to end.

To all the participants, thank you for your wonderful performances, which were a fitting end to the year. Also, thank you to the teachers and parents for your guidance.
