5th Akasaka Junior Music Competition Fukushima District Preliminary Round
The 5th Akasaka Junior Music Competition, the junior version of the Romania International Music Competition, held its Fukushima regional preliminary round, kicking off the regional preliminary rounds.
The 5th Akasaka Junior Music Competition Fukushima District Preliminary Round, held at the same Aizu Keikodo as last time, was filled with the enthusiasm of children performing confidently amidst a tense atmosphere. Overall, the level of performance had risen significantly. I believe this wasn't just about technical skill, but rather a change in each individual's mindset—the desire to participate in the competition and to have their performance heard. "Having a goal in daily lessons changes one's attitude towards music." Listening to everyone's performances this time, I was incredibly happy to see that this competition served as a catalyst for that change. I look forward to hearing more wonderful performances in the final round.
